The Life of Cecelia Molyka

Something that we really thank God for is when He brings us into contact with people with whom we can share the Bible. One lady I've been blessed to be able to study with is named Cecilia. This is Cecelia and me standing in front of her house. We have been having Bible studies for a month now. First we went through different things that prove the Bible is the Word of God, now we are studying through the book of John. "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world." John 6:47-51

This is the complete inside of Cecelia's house. The room on the left is where she sleeps the room on the right is her "living room" where we have our Bible studies. The church she used to meet with kicked her out of the church because they accused her of being a witch.

This is Cecelia's kitchen. She shares it with other ladies in the compound. She's always afraid that people are going to use juju to harm her in some way.

This is where she uses the toilet and gets her bath. It is also a community bathroom.

Cecelia buys, cooks, and sells chicken for her income which is...

about $50 a month.

Some of the pepper, onion, ginger, garlic, and tomato she uses to cook with the chicken.

"I'm living in a spiritual desert," Cecelia says. I am studying the Scriptures with Cecelia to give her living water. "But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life." John 4:14. Please pray for Cecelia's precious soul that she too will drink of that living water!
